The Sri Lankan Government (Majority Sinhalese Buddhist) is currently committing genocide against minority Tamils in the North East through a pretext of its 'war on terror'.

They have banned all Aid groups, media, and independent journalists. Human Rights Watch and other NGO's have been denied permission into the conflict zone.

Over 100,000 have been killed to date.

Over 2,800 minority Tamil civilians have been killed in the last 2 months due to shelling by the Sri Lankan Government. Civilians are directed to go to 'safe zones' which are then fired at by the Army to maximize causalities.

not to mention the thousands of tamils the LTTE themselves have killed ... have you seen any of the recent footage of them shelling the escaping tamils? yes the government is corrupt and yes many tamils have died but there wouldnt have to be any incessant shelling of anyone if it werent for the LTTE so instead of being anti SL government try being PRO tamil equality or ANTI -LTTE!

Actually no - the LTTE was formed after mass murders of Tamils all throughout Sri Lanka... The Sri Lankan Governments oppression against its minority Tamils is the REASON why the LTTE was formed.

The Sri Lankan Government has succeded in killing over 10,000 civilians in the last 4 months..... The Death toll in Sri Lanka now exceeds Iraq/Afghanistan/Gaza/Pakistan...COMBINED for 2009...

I SWEAR THEY R DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN. DON'T B SUCH A JERK! THEY STARTED THE WHOLE THING AND CONTINUED IT FOR 26 YEARS. IT'S OUR COUNTRY BUT V STILL GAVE THEM A PLACE IN IT.

Ummm they are holding 260,000 civilians in prison camps without movement similar to Concentration camps used by Hitler in World War II.... they are being investigated by US/UK/EU and UN for War Crimes....

"Its our country but we still gave them a place in it" Tamils were in Sri Lanka just as long as Sinhalese, your type of racist slurs is what propels the violence.

SL Government did not save civilians, they are holding them in concentration camps like Hitler did to the Jews.
